Friends Caring for Cowan Lake State Park is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit
Since 2012, Cowan Lake has served as the nesting site for a pair of American Bald Eagles. This is why we felt it was fitting to include this element in the course design. Furthermore, Cowan Lake is home to various species of frogs and turtles, which we believe will add charming touches to the course décor.
A Heartfelt Thank You from Friends Caring for Cowan Lake
Friends Caring for Cowan Lake would like to extend our gratitude to everyone for supporting our non-profit organization and helping make the 9-hole miniature golf course a reality for 2024!
Special Thanks
We are especially grateful to HealthFirst of Clinton County for the generous grant we received.
This project would not have been possible without the contributions from community donations through FCC events, along with the support from HealthFirst of Clinton County.
Thank you all for your support!
Stunning landscape enhancements have been implemented at the Putt-Putt course. Our gratitude goes to the park for providing shaded seating, a picnic area, and a newly mulched path that now surrounds the course.
The 9-hole miniature golf course is situated next to the commissary, which previously housed a playground that was dismantled at the conclusion of the 2023 season due to its age. This course is suitable for all ages and is open for play. The commissary offers loaner putters and golf balls, and you can participate by making a donation to Friends Caring for Cowan Lake
