**Our Friends Cabin is located inside Cowan Lake Campground, in the main parking lot. There will be Bean soup, Vegetable soup, fried potatoes, corn bread, hot dogs, various desserts, cotton candy, snow cones, hot chocolate, coffee, and tang. Raffle Baskets, and 50/50 tickets available both weekends. Raffles winners will be drawn 10-21 at 3:30pm.


18-Hole Disc Golf Course on South Side of the Lake and a 9-tee/3 Basket Practice Course Inside of the Campgrounds are now Open Year Around.

Cowan Lake State Park offers a peaceful setting complete with scenic inlets laden with the American Lotus water lily. Swimming, fishing, sailing, kayaking and canoeing are popular on the lake.


Meandering trails through mature woodlands complement the natural features of this scenic 1,775-acre park.
